Burial Mound 2

The Shadow Plane seems to be filled with undead, and what better place for the undead to hang out but burial mounds? Stone stairs lead into the mounded earth, leading to a spiral-shaped cavern lined with sarcophagi. Within each sarcophagus, a mummified warrior interred for his final rest. At the center of the spiral, some type of chapel. The ghoul who is the sole resident of this place gives the players some hand exposition before waving his hands and chanting a word of power. The sarcophagi predictably slide open and the dead attack! Nobody is surprised. Just another Thursday for D&D characters.
